Back and Better...........

First,let me welcome myself back to blogland!
i opened this site now,and i realized  how much  i've missed blogging.
you see,not like i really stopped blogging,but,i blogged about something important about 3months ago,i was about to publish it and all of a sudden,everything just disappear!
i tried all my effort to retrieve it,but all my effort proved futile.since then,I've been trying to write it again,but I'm soooooooooooo not getting it right. 
U see,the way things are this days.i just dont understand.
i swear!
our politics in Nigeria looks like comedy,which has no remedy.all politicians running helter skelter,just to make sure they're covered this coming election.
let me not go into the details for now.........
that's another thing to blog about some other time.........

there's so much to write about these days......and i promise to do that soon!

The rise and fall of Abolore Akande(9ice).

2009 was more than 9ice for the Nigeria artiste,9ice.he went home with four headies!(HIP-HOP WORLD AWARDS),and we were all looking forward to a beta 2010 for because we all knew he was dropping another album.

But,so many things came to a standstill for 9ice and all his lovers on the 8th of January,when his PR outfit released a press release signed by the artiste that he is separating from his wife for a while,even though they remained good friends and business partner.

*sighs*

why do they have to separate?
for me,they are just perfect for each other,(from what i read and saw)
Even though separation is becoming more than rampant among celebrities,my mouth was left hung open for an unconsiderable lenght of time.unshed tears garther in my eyes.i was more than disappointed.
but,i haven't got the disappointment at all,since i came accross the news on Linda Ikeji's blog,i knew there would be comments,so,i proceeded.
and it was there i got the shocker of my life!


"to move back to his Alatika clan. Omo le ni, won ti gbe si ori bed, o ti fi style jabo si le. I really like Toni but women, we need to have some minimum standards. In anything in life, water should find its own level.women, we need to stop picking up riff raffs and cleaning them up all cos we want husband. I am not a big girl o, but for what i have worked for in my life, shit i aint settling for anything below my standards. if that means dying single...so be it. I know my weakness and i will probably quench if a guy uses me to up his game, then bounces....talk about a good reason toget a criminal record cos that mofo is going down. shit i am just mad at this local boy turn celeb. omo ati oko wa ba ile je"

that was the comment from one of the people who felt 9ice was solely to be blame for this break-up.(i weak for people sha!)i will not trade blames,but if you want to know,the marriage had cracks since last year because there is a track on 9ice's new album,tradition,titled 'once bitten twice shy',the first time i heard the track,i knew his marriage was not intact.
i love 9ice despite everything,people are blaming this on him,saying he is an illiterate,and he is too low to get married to a tush gal like toni,et al.and some even said he is the Naija version of Tiger Wood.
i would rather not blame anybody as far as this issue is concerned,but people should remeber that;
 you can take the man out of the street,but not the street out of the man!

I cant do much writting now,but i will be back for a more better gist!

That 9ice has grown from an upcoming singer-performer, to become one of Africa’s most promising exports, is not just as a result of his talent, hard work and can-do spirit; but because the media in Nigeria (print, broadcast and online) have been extremely kind to him and his music.

Unfortunately, we may have some sad news for you.

9ice and his beautiful wife Toni Payne; with whom he tied the knots last year; are separating.

The couple have agreed to separate for a while, even though they continue to remain good friends and business partners.

Their baby Zion will reside with Toni for now.

This is a very very tough decision for the couple, and it’s a tough, even trying time for the young partnership we all admire so much. And they’re even the more constrained to make this announcement; knowing it will shatter many of their fans, and admirers inside and outside the country.

But they have both agreed to be responsible about the development, and make public what is necessary, to avoid unnecessary speculations, and rumours.

And it is their wish that we all respect their privacy at this period.

Neither 9ice nor Toni will be granting any press interviews on this matter.

this is so unbelievable!

i mean,their relationship does not in anyway appear like it was going to the rocks as fast as this.for real,i'm short of words.

Apparently,it not so new for celebrity break up.but this is mind-shattering.i would never have thought in my wildest dreams that this couple would break up,at least not as fast as this.

Since the press release from his PR company,there as been so much speculation from all his fans,both locally and internationally.some were surprised,while some were not.some has been expecting it for a long time,while to the likes of me,it's nothing but a big blow!

Some lay the blame solely on the wife,Toni Payne,saying she got married to 9ice simply because of the pregnancy,she is a normal girl living in new york,she was so love struck when they were dating,and all of a sudden,when they got married,her fb status did not suggest that of a newly wed,but discussed more of her business matters.some even said she got married to 9ice because of his fame(which i totally disagree to).some of her friend even said she stopped talking about her marriage after a short while,she only talked about her son and her business.at a time,she was accused of being just a business partner with 9ice.

 

 On the other hand,some said this break up is caused simply because of 9ice's sexcapades.i heard  he's fast becoming Nigeria's tiger wood,he was accused of infidelity,and that this fame of a thing was beginning to get into his head(even though her managerial skills made him popular)some thinks because he is not a graduate,he is finding it difficult to cope with Toni.

I read a response on a blog i'm following and the comment was really BAD!

This is so crazy and untrue!for real,i dont believe in the fact we fellow humans are capable of helping ourselves.our help comes solely from God!we humans are just fortunate to be appointed as the instrument of such helps.

 

Left to me,so many things are so UNreal concerning this relationship,starting from the distance.9ice is a Naija based guy,who rarely jet out of the country except for shows.his spouse on the other hand is a Los Angeles based chick,and a big one to be precise!(and of course thier educational background)after they got married,they were blessed with a kid(boy) and he was christened ZION!

Jezzz!

The first time i heard that,i couldnt help but laugh,thinking im my frigging mind whose idea it was,9ice's or Toni's idea?

i mean both are Yoruba(Abolore and Oluwatoni) so where the heck does zion originated from??????????

And to make it even more interesting both parties still remains good friends and business partners!for where????????

*sighs*i weak for all this Nigerian artistes and thier make belive world sha!

Both artistes are keeping thier mouths sealed on this issues,so all this are apparently speculations and what i've read!

i sincerely hope theywill boyth overlook thier diffrences and better move on,because,where two elephant fights,the grass suffers.and the grass here happens to be thier child.

So lets all keep our fingers crossed and see if this is another kind of hollywood publicity stunt!

2009 is already over
For shizzle mhen,its totally a brand new year,and I've got so many things lined up for this year(though,thats another topic entirely)

2009ice was not all that smooth a ride,so many hitches here and there,so many great stuffs happened as well,but most importantly,some people i met really made it a wonderful experience.some made it rock,while some made it suck.but i still cant help but make a short dedix to everyone.you all deserve my sincere appreciation...........

so,here we go!

Its not soo funny loosing  people you admired from a distance

Its sooo annoying...that Caroline Johnson and Maryam Babangida have to die.
Caroline Johnson...you should remember in a popular TV soap,heavens gate,she played the role of Uju
she passed on,on 16th of December at a hospital in Lagos,after a protracted illness,leukemia(a cetain cancer,blood i think.but not sure)

And im soo pissed(but definitely not at God)

I actually heard about her illness first while reading Toni Payne's blog,and i never wanted her to die,cuz she's really suffered

why should we loss our dear Caroline Johnson at 32?

Righr now,i'm looking at her picture on Linda Ikeji's blog, and as phlegmatic as i normally thought i was,im fighting real hard to stop the tears threatening to spill!

I'LL SO MISS HER .

Another person i recently heard of her death happens to be our Ex-firstlady.
She bade the world farewell in far away US on the 26th of december this same year.
